        The Thiruthiyad Unit congress committee situated in Thiruthiyad. The residents in this area are facing too much problem as the Arayidath palam junction became too much crowded. A perfect solution for the problem of flood ,during the rainy season was not able to find out by the Corporation of Calicut even now ,as the Communist Markist Party were in powers for the last so many years.

       The  UDF Mandalam Election committee organised a procession on 10.5.2009 as an election campaign of the parliament election on 10.5.2009. The election campaign rally inaugurated from Thiruthiyad unit congress committee at 5 P.M.  the ralley covered entire Mandalam Committee area under the leadership of Mr.Abdul Lathief Haji,President and Sri.P.K.Muraleedharan,secretary of  UDF Mandalam Election Committee
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

                                                                                   

 
      The Thiruthiyad unit congress committee distribute books for poor children belong to the surrounding area. A function was conducted from unit committee office at 5.P.M on 31.5.2009. Mr.Zachariya P.Hussain,President of block congress committee inaugurated this function. Mandalam congress committee president Mr.P.K.Muralidharan preside over the function. Block vice president Mr.Lohithakshan attend in the function.

     There was shortage of an office to co-odinate the work of the congress in the area of Sashti nagar Colony. This was was previously co-0rdinated from Eranhipalam unit office ,belong to Karaparambu Mandalam. But when the waynad road widened, the office situated on the other side of the road ruined and could not able to arrange a fecility to co-ordinate the works.

     The new office building situated on the second floor of a building near sashtri nagar colony . The office inaugurated  by Professor Mathew Thamarakkad on17.5.2009. Mandalam congress president Mr.P.K.Muralidharan preside over the   function.The vice president of Vellayil block congress committee Mr.Lohithakshan,      Mr.K.T.Aravindakshan, Smt.Devayani Teacher,Mr.Thottathil Kesavan,Mr.Asokan and Mr.Valsan felicitate the function.

The Mandalam Congress committee president Mr.P.K.Muralidharan presides  over  the  function.  The  Block Congress  committee  vice-president Mr.P.Lohithakshan, Mr.K.T.Aravindakshan, Mr.Valsan,Mr.Muthaleef, Mr.Mansoor and Mr.Prasanthan spokes few words.

Manassariyan Graha Sandarsana Yaatra

  

     In connection with the 125th year celebration of Indian National congress the Eranhipalam mandalam congress(I) committee conducted a house to house visit named as "Manassariyan Graha Sandarsana Yaatra. The congress workers visited every houses in the mandalam -area  enquired  and shared their difficulties of the people and try to help them to solve their problems

 .
    The Maanassariyan Graha sandarsana yatra begins from CDA colony, Eranhipalam on 24-1.2010. It was inaugurated by Vellayil Block president Mr.Zakkariya P Hussain. The function was presided over by Mr.P.K.Muralidharan,Mandalam congress committee president. The other office bearers participated in the function were Sri.Kadassery Sekharan, Adv.P.M.Niyas, Sri.P.Lohithakshan -block vice president, Sri.Karupali Premnath, Smt.Devayani Teacher, Sri.K.T.Aravindakshan Mr.Sreedharan- Mathrubhumi and Mr.Girish-thiruthiyad.

    The Manassariyan Graha Sandarsana Yaatra met nearly ten thousand peoples in the mandalam. The closing cerimoney of the Yaatra had held at Asoka puram on Dr.Ambedkhar Jayanthi day(14-4-2010).

Eranhipalam Mandalam Congress (I) Committee

      The Eranhipalam Mandalam is situated in Kozhikode Taluk, bounded on the North side by Wayanad-Road from Eranhipalam Post office to the bridge of Eranhipalam. On the East side flows Canoli-Canal from Eranhipalam to Thituthiyad. The south side by Mavoor-Road from Thiruthiyad Junction  to the junction of  Wayanad-Road. The west side by the Wayanad-Road, beginning from Mavoor-Road junction to Eranhipalam-Junction.

     The Eranhipalam Mandalam Congress committed re-constituted anticipating to face the existing local problems and to get sufficient majority in the coming parliament election,2009. Many congress voters were out of the karadu voters list published recently. It was a difficult work to accommodate those voters  quit away from the voters list and accommodate them in their former position. Many new voters also entered under the different booth committees.
      But we will be able to solve every problems one by one with the help of the congress peoples under the leadership of Mandalam president Sri.P.K.Muralidheeran

      The peoples resided in  eranhipalam Mandalam area has so many problems under the administration of communist party. flood in the rainy season is the most important difficulty.     
     The drainage constructed with out  correct planning create flood in the rainy season.  A small rain will deposit a lot of water on the road and create flood. The corporation of Calicut or the ruling Party- CPM is not showing any interest to find out a solution to solve  this problem. Every people residing in this area believes that ,that was their fate. A large number of people believes that If congress comes to power in the next corporation election, will find out a solution. But unfortunately we are not able to present good candidates in the Corporation election due to the seats are divided considering their group. So it is better not to dream for a congress rule in Kozhikode corporation in the nearest future
